Our Grimsby funeral home on Macaulay Street was built more than 100 years ago by William Thomas Emberson Snr. It still stands as a large part of our community today, serving our local community in addition to nearby villages such as Cleethorpes, Humberston, New Waltham and Laceby.
We have recently expanded so that a number of local funeral homes in Grimsby are now operating under the J. W. Emberson name. If you are local, you may recognise them, as they were previously known as: Steven Near Funeral Services - Wellowgate, S F Wilson – Cleethorpe Road and Waltham Funeral Service - Fairway.
While their names may be changing, they will continue to serve local families with consistent high standards of funeral care and customer service.
